For independent dental practices

Your front desk is doing two jobs. Let the iPad take one.

IPORT makes the case and the charging base that keep your front-desk iPad on the counter, charged and ready when a patient walks up.

Drop-tested to 2 meters From $300, one time. No subscription. 1-year limited warranty

CONNECT PRO Case & BaseStation

Magnetic mount. Charges on contact.

What it takes to put check-in on an iPad.

Three things. An iPad. Software that puts your forms on it, which many of the major practice-management systems now include. And somewhere for the iPad to live, so it is on the counter, charged and ready when a patient walks up.

We make the third one. A case, and the base it sits on. Magnetic mount, charges on contact, no cable running to the iPad, and it wipes down between patients. Two parts, from $300, one time.

From dental practice owners.

The clipboard was the first thing patients complained about. Now check-in runs itself while we handle the phone. It took minutes to set up and has been running every day since.

Office Manager · Independent Practice, Phoenix AZ

We tried a tablet once before — it ended up in a drawer by week two. The BaseStation is mounted to the counter, charges on contact, and hasn't moved since we got it.

Dr. James T.

Practice Owner · Family Dentistry, Austin TX

We already had the iPad. It just lived in a drawer, and it was always dead when we wanted it. Now it's on the counter, charged, every single morning.

The real cost of clipboards

Twenty minutes of retyping every new patient — paid for twice.

Your front desk is the first impression. And it's still running on clipboards, Bic pens, and a stack of intake forms.

Patients fill them out wrong. Your team can't read the handwriting. Then someone retypes it all — the same work, done twice.

If you've already moved intake to an iPad, you know the other half of the problem: the iPad ends up in a drawer, handed around, or dead by mid-morning. A mounted, magnetic-charging iPad is there and ready every time a patient walks in — as polished as the chain down the street.

Most practices already own the iPad.

It ends up in a drawer, handed between rooms, or dead by mid-morning. Giving it one place to live is the difference between a gadget the office tried once and equipment the front desk counts on every day.

Designed for independent practices — same enterprise-grade hardware that runs in healthcare at scale, sized for an independent front desk.

Why it's safe to buy

Built for daily clinical use. No IT department required.

Drop-tested to 2 meters

Both case lines withstand drops up to 2 m — built for high-use environments where things get bumped, handed around, and knocked off counters.

Built so adoption sticks

A dedicated home for every iPad. Always charged, no missing cables, with fast charging that reaches 50% in just 30 minutes.

Daily disinfection safe

Wipe it down with hospital-grade cleaners between every patient. The case surface and charging contacts won't degrade over time.

No IT department needed

If you can plug in a power cord and snap a case onto a magnetic base, you can install this. No technician, no IT visit, and nothing to configure.

Questions, answered.

Yes. Dentrix stays on your computers exactly where it is. The iPad runs whatever app you hand to a patient, and IPORT is the case, mount and charger underneath it. Nothing we sell connects to your practice-management system, so there's nothing to configure or approve. Same for Eaglesoft, Open Dental and MacPractice.
Only if you don't already have one. IPORT makes the case, the mount and the charger, so the iPad itself is not part of the order. Most practices we talk to already have one sitting in a drawer or moving between rooms, and that is the one this is built around. If you do need to add a device, any current iPad works and we'll tell you which case fits it.
Your workflow stays the same. The iPad does what it already does; it just has a fixed home on the counter instead of moving around the office. For most practices the change on day one is that the iPad is charged and in the same place every morning, and nobody is hunting for a cable.
Two reasons. First, it's mounted — the iPad doesn't get handed around the office, stuffed in a drawer, or dropped in the lobby. Second, it charges on contact — no cable, no dead battery, no "where's the charger?" problem. The hardware removes both failure modes from the equation.
Setup is a power cord and a magnetic base, so the install itself is quick and doesn't require a technician or an IT visit. We'll confirm current lead times on your hardware when we send pricing.
Both CONNECT PRO and CONNECT cases are designed for daily wipe-downs with hospital-grade cleaners and disinfectants. The case material and magnetic charging contacts are rated to handle this without degrading.
The case is drop-tested to 2 meters, so the iPad has meaningful protection. If something does happen, the system is designed so you can swap the iPad independently — you're not replacing the entire mount or dock, just the device. Both systems include a 1-year limited warranty on hardware.
The Dock setup starts at $300 and the BaseStation setup starts at $600. Final pricing depends on the iPad model you're using and the number of check-in stations. Fill in the form below and IPORT's healthcare team will send an exact quote.

Tell us about your front desk and we'll price it.

A few questions. You'll get pricing for the setup that fits your practice, from IPORT's healthcare team.

  • No obligation. It's a quote, not a sales process.
  • IPORT makes the hardware: the case that protects the iPad, and the base that charges it. The check-in software is separate. Tell us what you run and we'll say plainly how we fit.

What happens next

  1. IPORT's healthcare team emails your pricing and the setup they recommend.

  2. If it fits, the hardware arrives. You snap the case on the iPad and set the base on the counter. No technician, no IT visit.
